Campaign 207 Show...all I want for Christmas

OK, so I sent a CD package (again) AND I followed up with an email (with the letter I sent attached) so all the links and stuff could be easily accessed. I am so glad so many are willing to help out. I was going to put together a little "blurb of information" you could "draw from" to use in your correspondence with 207 but have decided against it. Instead I think YOU should tell them why they should put me on the air. It could be a moment we had together at a show, long-standing …

Building a Gingerbread House

This past week at Sunday River things were a bit slow. As life would have it there was a flurry of opening and closing doors. Behind door number 3 was a great little project for the Grand Summit that stepped forward.
We are building a large gingerbread house and Squintwood got to build the base framing. The house is 6feet by 6 feet and 7 feet tall at the peak. Not huge but really cool. The hard work is really falling on the chefs and kitchen staff.
The kitchen has begun producing 100 sheets of gingerbread and will be putting it together this week. I have requested timeline pictures from the Grand Summit and will post them for you if they come through.
Lots of fun.
Peace,
Squintwood

Finally got a show at Bray's Brew Pub!!

After sending my electronic press kit so many times I am sure they got sick of seeing it I finally went to the open mic and gave it a spin. Best move I could have made. The open mic house band was great and got some real groovy vibes jamming with them at the end of my set. Rusty was there and Steve Bailey was wailing on the guitar alnog with a fine looking lady I did not get to meet. She had it going on for sure.
Long story short I will be playing there in January (mid-week) AND if I am a good boy Sonja said she will put my name in the hat for the Blues Festival 2012! Maybe I am "that Blues Guy, right?" Whatever floats the boat I guess.
Peace,
Squintwood

The Glamour Tour...the "cramp" is on

Recently I went to visit my brother, Randy, and his family in Winthrop. For me a was a well planned two day, four gig, search for more places to play. Primarily focused on the Hallowell area the trip was a great success. Hallowell has an awesome music scene and I expect good things to come of it. First let me say many thanks to John Hasnip who hosts two of the places we jammed. John helped me coordinate early shows at The Mad Dog and Hoxter's so I could slide into two others later the same night. John …

Pictures from The Hilltop Days

Many years ago, while the Hilltop was still the place to hang my hat, a recording was done at The Outlook Studio in Bethel. Mr. York, the proprietor of the Hilltop, took me to put down a couple tracks to send into a talent contest. These pictures were promo shots from the day. (I found the old reel-to-reel tape as well but I can't remember how it even sounded.) This house, nicknamed The Gingerbread House, was moved from it's original spot a little way up the road. It is a local effort to save it and get …
